The promoters of Lumpini and Ratchadamnern stadiums have agreed to repeat the popular cross-stadium event on August 6, with a bout of Ratchadamnern’s Chomthong Chuwattana and Lumpini’s Nong-O Sit-O as the star match.

Most details of the second Lumpini-Ratchadamnern event have been finalized with the famed promoter Songchai Ratanasuban as chief organizer, while some amount from the event’s earning will be donated to families of police officers, soldiers, and civilians who died in the unrest in Thailand’s three southernmost provinces.

Among the various matches of top fighters pitted against their counterparts from the rival stadium, the most notable fight in the event will be the match of Chomthong and Nong O.  

The event is very much a sequel to the previous cross-stadium event, held on July 3 at Lumpini, which drew great attention in the downturn time of muaythai in its home country Thailand.

มวยยกทีมสองเวทีภาคสองลงตัวแล้ว

ศึก มวยยกทีมนัดสองวันพฤหัสฯ ที่ 6 ส.ค. ที่เวทีราชดำเนิน ผู้บริหารเวทีราชดำเนินและโปรโมเตอร์ร่วมกลั่นกรองคู่มวยสองเวที 10 คู่ ตะบันหน้ากันลงตัวแล้ว ซึ่งจะพิจารณารายละเอียดทั้งเรื่องการได้เสีย, น้ำหนัก, ค่าตัว ตลอดจนการวางคู่ว่าจะวางคู่อย่างไรให้ถูกใจแฟนมวย ล่าสุดมีการแถลงข่าวยืนยันความพร้อมกับสื่อมวลชน เมื่อวันที่ 23 ก.ค.ที่โรงแรมเอสซี ปาร์ค มี "บิ๊กซ้ง"ทรงชัย รัตนสุบรรณ โปรโมเตอร์ใหญ่เวทีมวยราชดำเนินเป็นแม่งาน เปิดแถลงข่าว การจัดมวยไทยนัดประวัติศาสตร์วงการมวยยกทีมในชื่อ "ศึกราชดำเนิน-ลุมพินี สานใจไทย สู่ใจใต้" รายได้ช่วยเหลือทหาร ตำรวจ และครอบครัวผู้เสียชีวิตจาก 3 จังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้

ศึกครั้งนี้รางวัลจะเป็นการชิงถ้วยพล.อ.เปรม ติณสูลานนท์ ประธานองคมนตรี มอบให้ทีมชนะเลิศคะแนนรวม นอกจากนี้ ยังมีถ้วยพล.อ.พิจิตร กุลละวณิชย์ องคมนตรี มอบให้ทีมรองชนะเลิศคะแนนรวม และถ้วยนายธานินทร์ กรัยวิเชียร องคมนตรี ให้ผู้ชนะคู่มวยดุเดือดของรายการ พร้อมเสื้อสามารถ ส่วนผู้แพ้คู่มวยดุเดือด จะได้รับเสื้อสามารถ ค่าบัตรผ่านประตู 300, 600 และ 3,000 สำหรับคนไทย ส่วนชาวต่างชาติ 1,500, 2,000 และ 3,000 บาท
