Thai boxer to fight Filipino Champion

Thailand's Rattanaphon Kokiert Gym will return to the original fight against Gerry Penalosa of the Phillippines

Rattanaphon, who earlier schede to fight against WBO Bangtamweight Champion Penalosa, which the fight had been skipped after Penalosa planed to challenge Junior Featherweight title from Mexican Daniel Ponce de Leon.

The latest undate found that the current Mexican Champion decided not to fight against Penalosa. The Golden Boy Promotion then annouced the original fight between Rattanaphon and Penalosa on 6 April in Philippines.

Khaoklai Kannorasing started his year by defeating Kim Sanghun of South Korea in the latest tournament.

Khaoklai sent Kim down to count on round two before sent jabs and hooks and easily win by points after three round in the F-G International Martial Arts Strongtest Rotating held in Seoul, South Korea.

Another Thai boxers, Tor Patak Lookthapfah defeated American boxer while Banapot Sor Romyanont lost in first round.

The World Boxing Council held its official press conference in Bangkok on 22 August by Mr. Sakthip Krairuek, the permanent secretary of Tourism and Sport and Pol. Gen. Kovid Bhakdibhumi, Vice President of WBC and Chairman of WBC Muaythai co-operated to announce the staging of the WBC MUAYTHAI WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP at the Normandie Casino, (California, USA) on 8 September 2007.
         
    
This special event is being held to honour the 80th Birthday celebrations of HM the King of Thailand.
    
The WBC MUAYTHAI super card features:
3 WBC Muaythai World Titles
3 WBC Muaythai International Titles
4 WBC Muaythai (USA) National Titles
    
Never before has there been such a sensational assembly of Muaythai champions and contenders as
Lamsongkram Chuwattana (Champion of S1 Worldchampionship, WBC Muaythai and Lumpini)
Kaew Fairtex (Lumpini Champion and The First of WBC Muaythai Champion)
    
The event has been approved by the California Athletics & Boxing Commission. The promoter is Dennis Warner.
The Muaythai championship event will be televised live across Thailand on Channel 5 and on Pay Per View TV in USA, as well as being packaged by Fox TV for international distribution.

Weight-ins report with Sanchai Sor Khamsing in Japan
    
Sanchai Sor Khamsing and thai boxer team with : Ratanadej Kietkhamphol, Dejdamrong Por. Terakul arrived Tokyo, Japan on Saturday morning 28 July 2007. The weather is approx 28-29 O’c and got pouring rain all day long.
  
On the 30 July: 15:00 hr. Weight-ins time.
    
Sanchai Sor Khamsing just finished the weight-ins with Mohammed Amadi (Iran) This fight they both have to fight at weight 143 lbs. but boxer weight-ins at:
Sanchai 140 lbs.
Mohamed Amadi 142 lbs.
  
Mohamed Amadi is taller than Sanchai a lots but Sanchai’s body is thicker.
  
Sanchai said to thai press that, “I will do it my best, and I don’t want to leave my repute here in Japan”
  
“Sai Nao” Promoter Wirat Wachiraratanawong said to Sanchai before left to Japan that “Don’t be worry in anything, just do it the best and I already plan the next fight in Lumpini, for the opponent I already had 2-3 in my mind and when sanchai finish this fight in Japan, I will let him know the good news.”
