Lukprabaht star fighters Wutthidet and Runruenglek have good chances to win the Lumpini matches this Friday despite opponents’ physical advantages, says manager.

The muaythai fans are enthusiastically looking forward to the event at Lumpini Stadium on Friday July 4 that will feature matches of many top fighters of Thailand, two of whom belonging to the Lukprabaht Training Camp.

The critics’ favorite Wutthidet Lukprabaht will face a formidable opponent Saenchai Sor Kingstart, while Rungruenglek Lukprabaht will be given a second chance in a rematch against Petboonchu F.A. Group.

“We are facing uphill battles for both matches. Everyone knows Saenchai is a real muaythai master. If it was not much trouble for him to reach 124 pounds weight requirement, we will be in a tough position,” said Lukprabaht manager Kingthong Lukprabaht, who is also father-in-laws to Wutthidet.

“But considering Wutthidet’s training and mental status, it will be a fun fight. He does not fear at all as he is currently high spirited. Saenchai, on the other hand, took a long absence from fighting and may not be as physically ready as Wutthidet.”

“Rungruenglek has lost to Petboonchu before in a very close match. Petboonchu seems to have a large figure now. He seemed really large when he won over Detnarong in the recent match. But Rungruenglek is now at his prime too.”

“I am completely confident. I think both of our fighters are still inferior in terms of figures and skills, but they do have one thing that is better than their opponents, which is the absolute confidence. That will bring them victory,” said the manager.

The Friday event will be slightly different from the earlier schedule as fighter Detnarong Sit Ja Boon has injured his toes. His match with Sam-A Tor Rattanakiet will be replaced by a fight of Chokchuay Petsirigym who will defend his champion title against Mu Si Sit Tor.

The other matches in the event include Wanchai Sor Kittisak vs. Thanusueklek Or Kwanmuang, Panumrunglek Kiet Mu Kao vs. Nong Nan Kietpratum, Rungpet Wor Sangprapai vs. Chatchai Sor Thanayong, Chalermdej Sor Tawanrung vs. Pansak Luk Por Kor, Nong O Sit Or vs. Lo-ngen Por Muang Tungsong (Pitakkruchaidan), and Payanon vs. Petrachan.
