Good time for Sangmorakot

The Sangmorakot training camp has had so much luck with the Omnoi Stadium recently, with many of its fighters receiving large amount of cash rewards. Marklaek Sit Itipito alone got 100,000 Baht from the sponsors, while Kittisak Sit Itipito and Wisanlek Sor Tossapol taking 50,000 and 30,000 Baht, respectively. Perhaps this is why the camp boss “Ja Tui” decided to celebrate the Thai New Year in Japan.

Yet another grand plan of Songchai

Promoter Songchai Ratanasuban has just come up with another great idea to please the muaythai fans; he wanted to host a grand muaythai event to honor the family of the recently deceased former WBC champion Saensak Muangsurin. As if that is not enough, he is also planning to build a statue for Saensak. That may be a nice project too, except that, as many would point out, his plan to build another monument for the muaythai legend Nai Kanomtom still has no tangible progress despite the fundraising long time ago.

No more fight for Pornsawan

The recent defeat in Mexico is really something boxer Pornsawan Por Pramook would want to forget easily, but some rumormongers did not wait to spread the words that the man is still looking to make a come back to the sport. Pornsawan himself had to call Muay Siam newspaper to confirm his intention of not returning to professional boxing, unless a generous promoter would offer him some handsome allowance. The man is apparently making more income with his take-home food business.

Thongdeenoi’s secret affair

Sit Charoenthong camp’s trainer Thongdeenoi Sitkrumai was said to be so drunk he could not his way back to his wife. Sit Pakpanang had a pity on him and took him home, and helped him lie to his wife who came to him asking for her husband. The lie, however, was not much effective as the wife happened to recognize Thongdeenoi’s shoes at Sit’s house. Fortunately, she did not see any female shoes, or Thongdeenoi’s secret affair may turn out to be some domestic violence.
