'Fake' PDF Print E-mail
Written by Mana, Editor: Wissawa Kuanmongkollert

“Fake” If we talk about fake things. It means not-real things or copy things. The quality of fake things is usually lower than the real-things. This can be from consuming products to sex. Therefore, real things become better and more enduring. If real things are better, why people like to use fake things.

It’s because of its low-price! Fake tapes, fake CDs, fake clothes, or even “gays” are all cheap! Thai people like cheap stuffs. Many days ago, there was news in many newspapers, especially the news paper in Siam Sport group, reported that someone faked one of the famous Siam Sport columnists to seduce girls.

Referee Yongsak Na Songkla, Justice of Wig Morchit PDF Print E-mail
Written by Mana, Editor: Wissawa Kuanmongkollert
Friday, 28 March 2008

Ajarn Yongsak Na Songkla, the great referee from the Muay Thai Channel 7 program which has won the best referee of the year and the best Boxing TV program. Ajarn Yongsak is also the representative of the Sport Authority of Thailand (SAT) to screen the amateur Thai boxers to compete in National Sport Competition, the head referee of Panjaksilad Sport Competition, and became the referee for the professional boxing of IBF, ABCO, and PABA.

He gave his opinions about the cheer sound that 'the cheer sound is the motives for the boxers, especially the disadvantage side, to have more power to fight back. I think cheering can make the game more fun. However, the cheer sound will not effect the referee’s decision. The referees judge from the game, not the surroundings. Therefore, the cheer sound makes the power for the boxers and the fight more colorful. No stress can make the referee lost his concentration. I like walking boxers because the fight is more fun. But referee should focus more on the boxing weapons. The walking boxers do not necessary win. It depends more on the boxing weapons and straight hit. Only if both boxers get even scores, I might give more credits for the walking boxers. This is already Channel 7 stadium’s rule. I do not want social or boxing fans to think that the walking boxers always win. They might walk to the other side to get hit also.'

There is story about the main fight of Suk Wan Boonya of ‘Pick’ Nun Boonyapisompan on Tuesday 11th of March at Lumpini stadium. The story is about Pansak, son of the editor, was hit hardly for 45 seconds from one corner to the other by Kaew Fairtext without fighting back. Finally, he fell down and lost.

Some fans shouted to the referee, the major Teera Naowangwara, for standing eight sounts as we seen Thai referees always did and the boxing fans feel that is normal.

Many people thought if the referee stop counting, Pansak might be able to fight more. But to win, it depends.

Some said the referee made wrong decision!!!

Foreigners feel unsecure in Thai standard of safety PDF Print E-mail
Written by Mana, Editor: Wissawa Kuanmongkollert
Thursday, 27 March 2008

As known, Ratchadamnoen stadium or 'Wig Air' is the international standard boxing stadium although there is no ISO guarantee. Everybody loves Ratchadamnoen because the journalists and the audience have freedom to gambling or often abuse the referee, the manager and the promoter!!!

Sanampri Payaoluck manages in a family way like brothers, easy going, not big deal.
The referees in this present day are criticized much but not my business. For me, I think they are o.k. with their job in the ring.

What I want to tell today is about the scene that happens on the ring such as the knocked out boxer or 'leak tir', the boxer who is kicked at upper-leg till can not walk.
