Wednesday, 01 October 2008

Vernon Forrest announces after reclaiming his WBC super welterweight title from Sergio Mora there will not be a third fight between the two.

“There will not be a third fight between me and Mora. Actually, the second fight should not have happened. He beat me in my worst night, but I am able to beat him back in one of my best nights,” said Forrest.

The American champion is looking to the welterweight class to find a famous boxer to be his next opponent.

“I have proven that I could beat a good fighter, so I am looking for a super fight which will mean a lot to me. Once you are in boxing, you will have to strengthen your bones then you will be able to make a lot of money. I have done every thing to prove myself, so I will not fight aimlessly, which I think is not wise at all,” said Forrest.
