Legendary boxer Oscar De La Hoya still has not found an opponent for his last professional fight. De La Hoya has reportedly offered WBC lightweight champion Manny Pacquiao of the Philippines 33% of the earning of the match if the Filipino boxer agreed to be his opponent in the fight that would be De La Hoya’s last professional boxing match. It is not clear how Pacquiao would respond but he has already rejected De La Hoya’s earlier offer which included a 70-30 sharing scheme. The talk failed when Pacquaio reportedly requested a share of 40% of the earning which the American boxer declined. According to another media report, De La Hoya may also be interested to fight WBC super welterweight champion Sergio Mora of the U.S. |
