Three amature boxers missing from IBA competiton

 Two international boxers and an American were missing from AIBA World Championship tournament held in Chicago, Unites States.

John Mirabelli, Chicago’s police spokesman, confirmed on Thursday that an American boxer and two boxers from Uganda went missing from their team during the AIBA World Boxing Championship in Chicago

 Mirabelli said some has been in phone contact with people nearest to them and it appeared they were likely left voluntarily.

However, police did not immediately release their names.

Richard Baker, the spokesman for International Boxing Association said their coaches had expressed concern to local organizing committee about their athletes’ where about before the team was refered to police.

“It was just a bit concern, it is normal to assist the process,” he said.

Baker also said the officials did not much concerned about the boxers’ safety.

Both Baker and Mirabelli could not confirmed when the boxers were missing.

“Police will treated this case as normal missing case,” Mirabelli added.
