WBC straw weight champion (105 lbs) Oleydong Kratingdaenggym engaged a warming-up fight and defeated Serga John from Indonesia in the fourth round. While Noknoi Kratingdaenggym defended defended his WBC Youth light flyweight championship and won Indonesian challenger Argus Merrang in the fourth round. The former WBC flyweight champion Pongsaklek Kratingdaenggym won over Mohamed Rachman from Iran by TKO in the sixth round.

The first bout of WBC championship at Wat Pakbung temporary boxing stadium, Romklao Rd., Minburi, Bangkok on 25 September, WBC straw weight champion (105 lbs) Oleydong Kratingdaenggym  engaged a warming-up fight with Serga John from Indonesia. Oleydong controlled the game and won by a left hook on the opponent’s torso in the fourth round.

Then it was the main bout of the event. WBC Youth light flyweight (108 lbs) champion Noknoi Kratingdaenggym made his 10th defense of the title against Indonesian challenger Argus Merrang In the first round, Merrang was punched down to be count to eight. Then Noknoi hooked on Merrang ‘s chin but he still stood up to fight. Noknoi continually punched on the opponent then he pushed a left hook on Merrang and caused him fall down to be counted to ten. Finally Noknoi won Merrang in the fourth round and successfully retained his title.

Later, Korn-Pongsaklek Kratingdaenggym, former WBC flyweight (112 lbs) champion, turned back to the canvas after stop fighting for a half of year. He engaged a warming-up fight with  Mohamed Rachman from Iran. He moved closer as soon as the first round started but Rachman always fought back aggressivelyn bent his head low and attacked him back.
After the fourth round, Pongsaklek tried to punch on the torso until Rachman couldn’t fight. In the sixth round, the former champion from Thailand punched heavily on the torso. Rachman coundn’ t fight back until the referee waved his hand to stop fighting.

After the show, big boss of Petyindee Sia Nao-Wirat Wachiraratanawong said that he felt quite satisfied with three boxers, especially Oleydong. He already scheduled Oleydong to make the second defense of his title on 27 November 2008 in Pisanulook province and was considering a suitable opponent.
