“Sia Ko” threw in a huge support to Vissanu Korkiart Gym, the PABA light flyweight champion, by backing him to world Muay Thai institutes in case he makes his mark in the fight against Little Roseman on October 12 in Chumphon.

“Sia Ko” Korkiart Panichchayarom, the Korkiart Gym’s promoter, said, “Vissanu Korkiart Gym, the rising fighter from my camp and the PABA light flyweight 108-pound champion, will face Little Roseman from Indonesia in his second title defence on October 12 at a makeshift ring in front of Muang Chumphon Vittaya School in Chumphon. Channel 5 will televise the event live from 3.30pm onwards.

Vissanu Korkiart Gym

“I have planned to back Vissanu in an effort of moving him up to the world Muay Thai institutes to vie for the world title belt in the match against Juan Carlos Rebeko, the Netr Sasiprapa Gym’s archrival. Netr failed to make his mark in his challenge match in Argentina and I decided to send Vissanu instead. Vissanu will take on the Indonesian fighter in a crucial fight.”

According to Korkiart,  former WBA champion Somsak Singha Chatchawal will compete in a warm-up encounter against Rivo Rengkung to make himself best-prepared ahead of the challenge match against Selestino Cabayero, world super bantamweight champion, while Netr Sasiprapa Gym will fight Saensaknoi Amphur Muang Klang in the all-Thai battle and the final clash of the M-150 Golden Gloves  between Rung Sasi Prapa Gym and Sirichai Ekchumpol.
