Thailand’s Vorapot Phetkhum defeated South Korean Han Soon Choon to book his birth in the quarter-final of the Olympic qualification first leg in Thai capital. Worapot defeated Asian Games silver medalist 22-7 to set a quarter-final round against Uzbekistan boxer who defeated Silankan fighter. Even he was not in his best form yet but Worapot said the victory boosts him confident to grab the place for Olympic final in Beijing. “I am now 85 percent confident to have my place for Beijing. I just left 15 percent for any accident,” he said. However, General Thaweep Chantaroj, warned his three Thai boxers to fight carefully and make sure to book their places for the upcoming Olympic.
