Seventy-seven countries send the boxers to challenge in the Olympic 2008. Africa 19 countries 60 boxers, America 15 countries 60 boxers, Asia 15 countries 62 boxers, Europe 23 countries 91 boxers, and Oceania 3 countries 11 boxers, as well as Swaziland and Grenada which get the wild card , total 286 boxers from 77 countries. Russia sends boxers to fight in 11 classes, China, Kazakhstan and Cuba send 10 classes, USA, France, and Australia send 9 classes, Algeria, England, Ukraine, and Thailand send 8 classes, Uzbekistan sends 7 classes, Dominican, Venezuela, and Italy send 6 classes, South Korea, Columbia, Puerto Rico, India, Brazil, Hungary and Ireland send 5 classes. Thai boxers who will be the nation representative are Amnat Ruenroeng (under 45 kgs), Somjit Jongjorhor (51 kgs), Worapoj Petchkoom (54 kgs), Sailom Ardee (57kgs), Pichai Sayotha (60 kgs), Manas Boonjamnong (64 kgs), Non Boonjamnong (69 kgs), and Angkarn Chompoopuang (75kgs).
