Amateur Muaythai Association will go ahead supporting ten boxers saying the assocaition has legal right to support them.
Santipab Intarapat, the chairman of the Amateur Muaythai Association of Thailand (AMAT), said ten boxers from the Amateur Boxing Association of Thailand (ABAT), must be registered under his Amateur Muaythai Association if they want to go to Seagames because his association has legal right in supporting boxers for the events. |

Since the former chairman of the Amateur Boxing Association of Thailand, General Chetta Tanajaro, announced himself for politics, at least two more boxers and two boxing camp owners decided to run for the upcoming election.
Kaosai Galaxy, a historical boxer for Thailand’s boxing history, decide to run for election in his hometown Phetchaboon for Puea Pan Din (or motherland) Party. Bronze medalist from Olympic Atlanta, Wichai Rachanond also decide to put his gloves off from his training job and became politician running in Bangkok for Puea Pan Din Party. |

Petchyindee Boxing Promotion annouces that the big match between Thai-born Eagle Kyowa or Eagle Den Joonlaphan and Thai fellow Oleydong Kratingdaeng Gym has been supports by Thai army cheif Anupong Paochinda. Piyarat Watchiraratanawong of Petchyindee said he has been informed that Eagle Den was training hard for the fight with Oleydong on 29 November at the temporary bount in Thailand's 11th infantry unit in Bangkok. |

General Chetta Tanajaro, former Thai army chief and the chairman of Thai amateur boxing association, announced himself as the leader and a candidate of new political party. Chetta, who was an army chief during 1996-1998, and became politician after his retirement for dissolved Thai Rak Thai Party, was selected as the leader of Ruem Jai Thai Chart Pattana party, a new party set up for upcoming election late this year. |
