Thailand’s Prawet Victory Gym sets a total of 129 rounds training before fighting against Nicaragua fighter late this month.

Prawet, WBA lightweight first ranked, started his training course with experienced Thai boxer and Seagame gold medalist.

He said he was confident for this time’s challenging as he has train hard with tough Thai boxers.

 Prawet Victory Gym will leave Thailand ten days before the fight with Nicaragua boxer in Germany.

Attaporn Tangnusart, Prawet’s manager, said he had brought best trainer Pong Thawornwiwatbutr and former champion Kaosai Galaxy to train more tactics for Prawet.

Prawet, WBA lightweight, first ranked, will leave Thailand for Germany on 18 December for the fight against Nicaragua’s Jose Alfaro, ranked number two, under Don King Promotion.

Thai boxers won seven golds from Muay Thai World Cup 2007 beating former champion Russia.

In the lat two days of the tournament , nine Thai boxers including two female boxers, went to final round. And seven of them including one female one gold medals, toppled Russia, a former champion, which run second with five golds.

***During 2007, many boxing activities were held in celebrating His Majesty King Bhumibol 80th anniversary.

***Especially on 5 December, there are many boxing matches held for free audience at Rajadamneung boxing stadium.
 
***Before the Seagames starts, there was one big event ‘World Cup 2007’ held in Bangkok comprised by many Muay Thai boxers.
 
***But it was pity that this big tournament was interested only by foreigners, not by Thai fans.

Thai junior WBC flyweight champion successfully defends his title by knock out Indonesian challenger.
 
Panomrunglek Kratingdang Gym started his defending match with accurate jabs and punches in which sending Indonesian boxer down in round four and successfully retains his junior WBC flyweight title.
 
The other matches were the warm-up match by former WBC flyweight champion Chatchai Kratingdang Gym who knocked Anis Rosefin from Indonesia in round two while Yodsanan Sityodthong, a former WBA champion wins over Japanese Mitzuru Okubo in round twos.

General Thaweep Chantaroj, the chairman of the Amateur Boxing Association of Thailand said before Thai males and females boxing leave the camp for Seagames in Nakhon Ratchasima that he was satisfied with the trainings by Thai boxers.

Indonesian Manger offers Thai champion big amount to defend PABA minimumweight title.

Promoter Niwat Laosuwanwat said it is time for PABA minimum weight champion Kwanthai Chor Na Pattalung will defend his title in January.He said Kwanthai would have to defend his title with PABA first ranked from Indonesia.

Niwat said Indonesia’s manager offers 5,000 dollars for Kwanthai to go to defend his title in Surabaya, Indonesia.
