 Filipino boxing hero, Manny Pacquiao, was welcomed by throngs of fans at Manila's main airport on his glory return after an unanimous-decision victory over Mexican fighter Marco Antonio Barrera, his common foe. The Pacman claimed that it was not the right time to retire now and will stay in his 130-pound division in order to have a super fight with WBA super featherweight Edwin Valero.

Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao, Philippine boxing star, has returned home on Thursday 11 November after protecting his WBC international super featherweight belt by winning the unanimous 12-round decision over Marco Antonio Barrera, who still doubted with the score, in Las Vegas, USA, last Sunday 7 October.

Cosmo Alexandra Kazza, a 25-year-old Brazilian fighter, who has a passion for Muay Thai and is fighting under the name “Cosmo Kor Romsrithong. He also captured Muay Thai 160-pound title in two institutes – World Muay Thai Council and the World Professional Muay Thai Federation.

Born in Santos, Cosmo actually made his debut attempt in soccer. However, after he initially learned Muay Thai six years ago, thanks largely to his neighbours, he fell in love with the martial art.

“At the first time, it was as if a man met a beautiful woman. He fell in love with her at that moment,” Cosmo said.

Saensaknoi Or Muangklang will take on Netr Sasiprapa Gym, the WBA No1 contender and former PABA champion, in a competition in Chumphon on October 12, as “Moeya” said if Saensaknoi beats Netr, he will push him to the world title bout either in the WBA or the WBO.

The Chalerm Phrakiart M-150 Muay Thai Against Drugs sees Ekvisanu Korkiart Gym defend his PABA light flyweight champion against Indonesian Little Roseman on October 12. Channel 5 will televise the event live from a makeshift ring at Chumphon Vittaya School in Nacha-ung, Chumphon from 3.30pm.

“Sia Ko” threw in a huge support to Vissanu Korkiart Gym, the PABA light flyweight champion, by backing him to world Muay Thai institutes in case he makes his mark in the fight against Little Roseman on October 12 in Chumphon.

“Sia Ko” Korkiart Panichchayarom, the Korkiart Gym’s promoter, said, “Vissanu Korkiart Gym, the rising fighter from my camp and the PABA light flyweight 108-pound champion, will face Little Roseman from Indonesia in his second title defence on October 12 at a makeshift ring in front of Muang Chumphon Vittaya School in Chumphon. Channel 5 will televise the event live from 3.30pm onwards.

“Big Jang” Chalermpong Chiewsakul, managing director of the Rajdamnoen Stadium gave “Ung Mor” Chucharoen Rawee-aramwong from Suek Daorung Chucharoen the green light to organize a Muay Thai contest to celebrate the Rajdamnoen’s anniversary on December 20 and at the same time, he designated “Big Song” Songchai Rattanasuban from the Suek One Songchai to stage the Chalerm Phrakiart Muay Thai Competition on December 5 at Rajdamnoen Stadium.
