"Ko" backs "Vissanu" to make it through the world-class institutes PDF Print E-mail

“Sia Ko” threw in a huge support to Vissanu Korkiart Gym, the PABA light flyweight champion, by backing him to world Muay Thai institutes in case he makes his mark in the fight against Little Roseman on October 12 in Chumphon.

“Sia Ko” Korkiart Panichchayarom, the Korkiart Gym’s promoter, said, “Vissanu Korkiart Gym, the rising fighter from my camp and the PABA light flyweight 108-pound champion, will face Little Roseman from Indonesia in his second title defence on October 12 at a makeshift ring in front of Muang Chumphon Vittaya School in Chumphon. Channel 5 will televise the event live from 3.30pm onwards.

“Big Jang” Chalermpong Chiewsakul, managing director of the Rajdamnoen Stadium gave “Ung Mor” Chucharoen Rawee-aramwong from Suek Daorung Chucharoen the green light to organize a Muay Thai contest to celebrate the Rajdamnoen’s anniversary on December 20 and at the same time, he designated “Big Song” Songchai Rattanasuban from the Suek One Songchai to stage the Chalerm Phrakiart Muay Thai Competition on December 5 at Rajdamnoen Stadium.

“Korn” Pongsaklek Kratingdang Gym, former WBC flyweight champion, will make a comeback attempt in a warm-up bout for the first time after he lost his crown in July. He will take on Ray Maygreenno from the Philippines on October 24, while Wan-eng Kratingdang Gym will defend his WBC strawweight title in the junior class against Arman de la Cruz, also from the Philippines at a makeshift ring in Bangplee District, Samut Prakan. Channel 7 will televise the event live from 2.30pm to 5.30pm.
